THE JUMP DADDYS
The Jump Daddys have a unique blend of music consisting of Jump Blues, Blues and Swing, drawing from a diverse range of artists such as Louis Jordan, Little Walter and as well as modern blues artists like Hollywood Fats, Little Charlie and the Night Cats, Garry Primmich Band, Paul Lamb and Rod Piazza.
The Jump Daddys formed in 2001 in Adelaide, South Australia. It is a six piece band with Wayne Townsend on lead vocals, Mark Winston harmonica, David Howlett guitar, David Wells on double bass, Alan Turner on keyboard and saxophone and Matt Carson on drums. Mark, Dave and Alan all also do back up vocals.
Their music is ideal for dancing or listening and it appeals to people of all ages. The Jump Daddys have performed at a wide range of venues from restaurants, clubs, pubs, hotels, benefits, private and corporate functions.
The Jump Daddys current success is due to their experience, professionalism to the presentation of their performance and the ability to adapt to the needs of their clients
